By-election results to be updated periodically on EC’s website

Kathmandu, November 29 — The Election Commission has made arrangements for the public to view the results of the local level by-elections, which are scheduled for Sunday, December 1.

The election results will be updated periodically on the Commission’s website at https://result.election.gov.np/, according to Assistant Secretary and Spokesperson Nita Pokharel Aryal.

She mentioned that the website has been set up to ensure easy access to election results for all concerned parties and the public. The voting for the by-election will take place from 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM at the designated polling stations.

After the voting process is completed and all the ballot boxes are collected at the designated counting centers, the counting of votes will begin.

A total of 41 positions will be contested in this by-election, including one Mayor, one Deputy Mayor, two Rural Municipality Chairpersons, four Rural Municipality Vice Chairs, and 33 Ward Chairs.
