U-19 Asia Cup: Sri Lanka sets Nepal a target of 234 runs

Kathmandu, November 29 — In the ongoing U-19 Asia Cup in the UAE, Sri Lanka has set a target of 234 runs for Nepal.

Batting first after losing the toss, Sri Lanka scored 233 runs in their allotted 50 overs.

Sharujan Shanmuganathan of Sri Lanka top-scored with 62 runs in 99 balls, while Lakvin Abeysinghe contributed a half-century, in 53 balls.

For Nepal, Santosh Yadav was the standout bowler, claiming 4 wickets.

Yuvaraj Khatri took two wickets, and Hemanta Dhami and Naren Saud took one wicket each.
