RSP MP Pariyar meets PM Oli
Kathmandu, November 27 — Santosh Pariyar, a Member of Parliament from the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), met with Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli on Tuesday morning at Singha Durbar.
A source close to the Prime Minister said, "MP Santosh came to Singha Durbar this morning to meet the Prime Minister. Details of their discussion are unknown. Whether the meeting was for personal reasons or party-related matters, you’d have to ask him directly."
Attempts to reach Pariyar for clarification were unsuccessful, as his mobile phone was found switched off.
Previously, RSP vice-president DP Aryal and other party leaders had also met with Prime Minister Oli.
The RSP has been critical of the government, accusing it of retaliatory actions against partry president Rabi Lamichhane.
Lamichhane is currently under investigation based on a parliamentary inquiry committee's report, which led to his arrest.
This meeting adds to the ongoing developments involving the RSP's relationship with the government and its protests against perceived injustices.
