Rabi Lamichhane to be brought to Kathmandu tomorrow for further investigation
Kathmandu, November 25 — Preparations are being made to bring the president of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSP), Rabi Lamichhane, to Kathmandu tomorrow.
Rabi, who was arrested on charges of cooperative fraud, has completed his statement in Pokhara, and now plans are underway to bring him to Kathmandu.
The Kaski District Court granted permission on Sunday to keep him in custody for an additional 15 days for further investigation.
According to the Kaski District Police, he is being sent to Kathmandu for investigation regarding the misappropriation of funds from the Swarnalaxmi Cooperative.
A warrant for his arrest has already been issued by the Kathmandu District Court.
