Man and woman found hanging in hotel in Sinamangal

Kathmandu, November 24 — Two individuals, a man and a woman, were found dead in Sinamangal, Kathmandu.

Ramesh Rayamajhi, 34, from Sunsari, and Sharmila Majhi, 29, from Morang, were discovered deceased at Hotel Janmabhoomi in Sinamangal, Ward 8 of Kathmandu Metropolitan City.

According to the police, the two had rented Room 120 on the fourth floor of the hotel on Saturday evening and were found hanging by their necks.

The bodies were discovered tied with a white cloth around their necks, fastened to the railing of the hotel balcony, as per police reports. Investigations into the incident are ongoing.

A police team from the District Police Office, Kathmandu, and the Valley Crime Investigation Office has reached the site for further investigation.
