Suspicious object found near Prachanda's residence

Kathmandu, November 22 — A suspicious object has been found in Khumaltar, Lalitpur.

Lalitpur's SSP Shekhar Khanal informed Ratopati that the object was discovered in Shivbasti, located in Lalitpur Metropolitan City-14.

The object was found in a sealed bag left on the road leading from Sangpang Chok towards Nakhhipot.

According to SSP Khanal, the bag was abandoned, and no one came to collect it, prompting an investigation. The Nepal Army's bomb disposal team has also arrived at the site to deactivate the suspicious object.

The location where the object was found is near the road leading to the residence of the Chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre), Pushpa Kamal Dahal (Prachanda).
