Police nabs youth with 2 kg gold in Rasuwa

Kathmandu, November 22 — The police have arrested a young man with gold in Kalika, Rasuwa.

The arrested individual is Karma Sonam Lama, 34, from Gosaikunda Rural Municipality-3.

According to Rasuwa's DSP Keshav Bhattarai, 2 kilograms of yellow metal, resembling gold, was found in his possession. He was arrested while traveling towards Kalikasthan on a motorcycle with the registration number Bagmati Province-02-043-Pa-2434.

The arrest was made by a team deployed from the temporary police post at Grang, Kalika Rural Municipality-1. The metal was hidden inside his shoes, and he has been sent to the Customs Office in Timure, DSP Bhattarai said.
