Three killed in motorcycle collision in Morang

Biratnagar, November 21 — Three people were killed when two motorcycles collided on the East-West Highway in Uralabari-3, Morang, on Thursday.

The deceased have been identified as 33-year-old Deepak Dhimal from Pathari-Shanishchare Municipality-5, 28-year-old Kishor Gurung from Kanepokhari Rural Municipality-4, and 26-year-old Amit Limbu from Belbari Municipality Ward No. 8.

Dhimal passed away at Araniko Hospital in Uralabari, Gurung at Madan Bhandari Hospital and Trauma Center in Mangalbare, and Limbu at B&C Hospital in Birtamod.

The motorcycles, with license plates Province 1-02-050 Pa 8406 heading east and Province 1-02-043 Pa 9226 coming from the east to the west, collided with each other. The police informed that 38-year-old Bishnu Dhimal from Pathari-Shanishchare-5 was injured in the accident.

The rider of the motorcycle with license plate Province 1-02-050 Pa 8406 has not been identified. Similarly, the rider of the motorcycle with license plate Province 1-02-043 Pa 9226 carrying Gurung and Limbu remains unknown.

Bishnu Dhimal was transferred to B&C Hospital in Birtamod, Jhapa, for further treatment, and his condition is said to be critical. Both motorcycles were severely damaged in the crash.
