Prabhu Sah calls for overthrow of current government

Mahottari, November 18 — The Chairman of the Aam Janata Party (AJP) and former minister, Prabhu Sah, has commented that the current government has failed.

Addressing a public gathering in Jaleshwar, Mahottari, organized by the AJP Madhesh Province Committee under the program "Madhesh Yatra Against Corruption," AJP Chair Sah stated that the government led by Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has failed to maintain peace and security. He claimed that the government has imposed tax terror on everything, and as a result, the general public is angry.

He argued that for a better governance system for the people, it is necessary to remove this government and system from the streets, and he stated that there is no alternative to a third people's movement (Jana Andolan).

He called for resistance against this anti-people, dictatorial government and its system, saying that there is no trust in the leaders. He warned that if the removal of this useless government and system is delayed, the country will have to pay a huge price.

He accused the Oli government of abusing its power to gain unjust benefits from businessmen, promoting corrupt employees, and punishing honest ones. Instead of providing services to the people as per their needs and expectations, the government is focused on burdening the people with debt and looting the state treasury, he claimed.

The event, held under the leadership of AJP Dhanusha District Chairman Arbinda Sah, was also attended by senior vice-chair Upendra Sah, vice-chairs Samina Hussain, Biltu Yadav, General Secretary Tribhuvan Sah, Deputy General Secretary Rajan Yadav, Secretary Shrichan Mukhiya, standing committee members Radheshyam Sah, Sunita Sah Kranti, among others, as informed by spokesperson Chandrabushan Sah.
