Purna Bahadurko Sarangi becomes highest grossing Nepali film ever

Kathmandu, November 13 — The film Purna Bahadurko Sarangi has made history as the highest-grossing Nepali film of all time. As of Tuesday, the 13th day of its release, the film has earned an impressive NPR 250.4 million nationwide.

The film has surpassed the previous record set by Kabaddi 4, which was the highest-grossing Nepali film until now.

The distribution company, 7 Seas Entertainment, stated that the film earned NPR 10.5 million on Tuesday alone.

Starring Bijay Baral, Purna Bahadurko Sarangi has now claimed the title of the highest-grossing domestic film. According to the producer's data, Kabaddi 4 had earned NPR 235 million, while the Film Development Board's figures showed it at NPR 213.8 million.

In addition to setting the record for the highest earnings, the film has also broken several other records, including the most screenings and the fastest box office collections.
