Photo Feature: Protest continue in support of Rabi Lamichhane even today

Kathmandu, October 22 — Protests in support of Rabi Lamichhane, the president of the Rashtriya Swotantra Party (RSP), continued today.

The party has organized demonstrations in Pokhara for the fourth consecutive day to advocate for Lamichhane's release.

The RSP led a protest from Zero Kilometer to Amar Singh Chowk in Pokhara in opposition to Lamichhane's arrest. He was apprehended in connection with the Sunydarshan Cooperative fraud case and was brought to Pokhara the same night.

Since the day of his arrest, the Kaski District Court has extended his detention by an additional six days. RSP leaders and supporters have been converging in Pokhara since Saturday.
