Yagyamani Neupane resigns as deputy chair of RSP’s Disciplinary Commission
Kathmandu, October 17 — Yagyamani Neupane, Deputy Chair of the Rashtriya Swotantra Party’s Disciplinary Commission, has resigned from his position. Neupane cited his intention to engage more actively in the party's politics as the reason for his resignation.
Bharatmani Devkota, Chair of the Disciplinary Commission, confirmed that Neupane's resignation has been accepted. According to Devkota, Neupane submitted his resignation approximately one month ago.
“He expressed his desire to participate in active politics. As he is a young and capable individual, we have gladly accepted his resignation and provided him with a pathway forward,” Devkota stated. Neupane is a legal professional.
Devkota noted that there is a cooling-off period of six months after resignation from the Disciplinary Commission, during which Neupane will not be able to actively participate in party politics. Only after this period will he be eligible to engage fully.
