Election Commission submits annual report to President Paudel
Kathmandu, October 8 — The Election Commission has submitted its annual report on the activities carried out in the fiscal year 2080–81. The report was presented to President Ramchandra Paudel at the President's Office in Sheetal Niwas on Tuesday.
During the event held at the President's Office, Chief Election Commissioner Dinesh Kumar Thapaliya handed over the report to President Paudel.
On this occasion, President Paudel stated that periodic elections are fundamental to strengthening the federal democratic republic and serve as a basis for the country's development and stability.
He expressed the view that through elections, the public can obtain and exercise their democratic rights, which he sees as a beautiful and essential aspect of democracy.
