CPN (US) schedules Madhesh convention for December 21-22

Kathmandu, October 7 — The CPN (Unified Socialist) has decided to hold the Madhesh Province Committee convention on December 21 and 22.

According to Province Chair Ramchandra Yadav, the extended meeting of the party's Madhesh Province Committee, which included officials, made this decision on Monday.

The Unified Socialist had earlier decided to complete the provincial and district conventions within the month of November, but contrary to that decision, the Madhesh Province convention has now been scheduled for December.

Additionally, the convention for Koshi Province is set for December 1 and 2.

The conventions for the remaining five provinces—Bagmati, Gandaki, Lumbini, Karnali, and Sudurpashchim—will also be scheduled accordingly, informed Ramkumar Bhattarai, Deputy General Secretary and Secretary of the CPN (Unified Socialist) Central Office.
