All-party meeting called by Prachanda cancelled
Kathmandu, September 29 — The all-party meeting called by Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda', chairman of the CPN (Maoist Centre) and leader of the main opposition party in the House of Representatives, has been called off.
Chairman Prachanda had summoned the meeting to discuss the ongoing heavy rainfall, floods, and the resulting conditions, scheduled for 10 AM today after he announced it last night.
Due to delays in action from the Nepal government, Prachanda called for the meeting as the leader of the opposition.
However, since the government has now also called for an all-party meeting, it was deemed unnecessary to hold a separate meeting, as informed by Prachanda's personal secretary, Ramesh Malla.
