Fourteen dead, eleven missing due to floods and landslides
Kathmandu, September 28 — Fourteen people have died due to landslides and flooding caused by continuous rainfall, with 11 others reported missing.
Assistant Spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, Shailendra Thapa, confirmed that 14 fatalities occurred from 4 PM on Thursday to 12 PM on Saturday across various districts.
According to him, two deaths and two missing persons have been reported in Dhankuta, while one person died and four are missing in Kathmandu.
Additionally, two deaths have been recorded in Panchthar, one in Lalitpur, three in Kavre, and one in Dhading.
Furthermore, one person is missing in Dhading and four in Bhaktapur.
