Three shops gutted by fire

Lahan -  A fire gutted three shops at Sukhipur Municipality-8, Siraha district last night. Goods worth around Rs 1.5 million were destroyed in the incident. 
The fire at the house of Sanjiv Gupta at local Gudri Bazar destroyed a grocery store, a fancy store and a tailoring shop at the house, police said. The fire is presumed to have started from a short circuit from the grocery store run by Upendra Saha. 
Police and locals brought the fire under control with the help of a fire engine brought from Lahan Municipality.
