Rabi Lamichhane's statement released in cooperative misappropriation inquiry

Kathmandu, September 20 — A statement by Rabi Lamichhane, president of the Rashtriya Swotantra Party (RSP) and former Deputy Prime Minister and Home Minister, has been made public by the special investigation committee on cooperative savings misappropriation.

In the full report published by the committee on Friday, he clarified that he cannot take responsibility for the funds received from cooperatives.

He was asked 51 questions during the inquiry. In his statement, he claimed that the cooperative issues have been sensationalized to make him appear guilty.
