TIA shuts down for half an hour as PM heads to the U.S.
Kathmandu, September 20 — Multiple flights at Tribhuvan International Airport were halted during Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's departure to the United States
Airport General Manager Jagannath Niroula informed that the airport was closed for half an hour for the Prime Minister's flight.
Currently, flights arriving from international destinations are being held in the air.
Some domestic flights are on hold, while others have been diverted to nearby airports.
The half-hour closure affected approximately 15 flights for takeoff and landing.
