Seven arrested for protesting against Constitution
Kathmandu, September 19 — The police have arrested seven individuals for protesting against the constitution in front of the Parliament building in New Baneshwor, Kathmandu.
They were apprehended near Gate Number 3 of the Parliament building, according to SP Navaraj Adhikari from the Kathmandu District Police Range.
The arrested individuals have been taken to the New Baneshwor police station. The government is celebrating Constitution Day with various events today, while several groups are also organizing protests against the constitution.
On Thursday evening, a National Day concert is scheduled to take place at Durbarmarg at the citizen level.
