RSP's first national assembly commences (photos)
Kathmandu, September 17 — The first national assembly of the Rashtriya Swotantra Party (RSP) has begun today. The assembly, which is taking place at the Pragya Pratisthan in Kamaladi, will continue until Wednesday.
According to Acting General Secretary Burlakoti, the assembly will discuss agendas including ideologies, organization, parliamentary matters, campaigns, and amendments to the party's constitution.
During the assembly, President Rabi Lamichhane will present the political report, while Acting General Secretary and Head of the Organization Department Burlakoti will present the organizational report.
The assembly is also expected to set the date for the first general convention. The party has stated that more than 1,500 representatives from across the country have come to Kathmandu to participate in the event.
