Global IME Bank wins 'Euro Money Award for Excellence 2024'

Kathmandu, September 13 — Global IME Bank Limited has been honored with the 'Euro Money Award for Excellence 2024' in the categories of Best Bank Nepal and Best Bank ESG (Environment, Social, and Governance) Nepal.

On Thursday, representatives from Euro Money Magazine presented the award to the bank's Chairman, Chandraprasad Dhakal, and Chief Executive Officer, Surendra Raj Regmi, at a ceremony held in Singapore.

Established by Euro Money Magazine in 1992, this award is a prestigious recognition in the banking sector. Global IME Bank received this award for its services to customers, adoption of new technologies in banking, investments in environmental, social, and governance areas, and high-level performance.

With this year's award, Global IME Bank has been honored with the Best Bank Nepal award for the second time. Previously, the bank also received the 'Euro Money Award for Excellence 2022 – Best Bank Nepal.'

In addition, Global IME Bank has been recognized by various national and international institutions in different categories. The bank has previously received prestigious awards such as Bank of the Year 2014, Best Internet Bank 2016, Best Bank Award 2024, and Best Employer.
