CPN (Unified Socialist) demands clarification from Metmani Chaudhary

Kathmandu, September 12 — The CPN (Unified Socialist) has asked its Deputy General Secretary, Metmani Chaudhary, to provide an explanation within three days.

In an interview on Prime TV on the 10th of September, Chaudhary reportedly made statements implying that Lipulekh and Kalapani are claimed by India.

The party has requested clarification from Chaudhary regarding these remarks, which were interpreted as supporting India's claims. The party has given Chaudhary three days to submit a written response.

General Secretary Ghanashyam Bhusal asked Chaudhary in the clarification request: “Numerous facts have clearly established that this territory belongs to Nepal. It is widely known that this territory is part of the Constitution based on our party's claims as well. Why did you speak against the country's integrity and sovereignty?”
