New CDOs in five districts; Jayanarayan Acharya in Kathmandu

Kathmandu, September 11 — The Ministry of Home Affairs has announced changes in the chief district officers for five districts. Jayanarayan Acharya has been appointed as the Chief District Officer of Kathmandu.

Previously, Acharya served as the Director General of the Prison Management Department.

Jitendra Basnet, who was working as CDO in Kathmandu, has been transferred to the Ministry of Home Affairs.

Kiran Thapa will take over as Chief District Officer in Sindhupalchowk, Leela Prasad Sharma will assume the role in Sindhuli, and Rama Acharya Subedi will be responsible for Pyuthan.

Baburam Aryal has been assigned as the Chief District Officer of Arghakhanchi.

Chhabi Rijal, Under Secretary at the Ministry of Home Affairs, confirmed these appointments to Ratopati.
