CPN (Unified Socialist) appoints seven leaders to address internal dissatisfaction

Kathmandu, September 1 – Seven party leaders have been appointed to address the growing dissatisfaction within the CPN (Unified Socialist).

During a meeting on Sunday morning, these leaders were tasked with listening to and resolving the concerns of disgruntled leaders and workers from the seven provinces. 

An official stated that the leaders are responsible for conducting informal meetings to address these issues.

The appointed leaders are Jagannath Khatiwada for Koshi, Dharmanath Sah for Madhesh, Gangalal Tuladhar for Bagmati, Prakash Jwala for Karnali, Srinath Baral for Gandaki, Metmani for Lumbini, and Bhanubhakta Joshi for Sudurpaschim.

The party has faced considerable dissatisfaction regarding the selection of office bearers and the politburo. As a result, leaders at various levels, from the central to the district level, have begun leaving the party. In response, the leadership is working to address these concerns.
