NIC Asia Bank wins 'Best in Digital Banking' award

Kathmandu, August 26 — NIC Asia Bank has been honored with the 'Best in Digital Banking' award at the second ICC Emerging Asia Banking Awards. The award was announced in a statement from the bank.

According to the bank’s long-term strategy of becoming a 'Digital First Bank,' all banking services are progressively being transitioned to digital platforms. This award serves as further motivation for the bank's digital banking efforts.

The award was presented at the 'Banking Conclave 2024' event, organized by the Indian Chamber of Commerce, held on August 23 in New Delhi, India. Banks from WIMSTEC countries, including Nepal, India, Sri Lanka, Bhutan, Myanmar, and others, participated in the competition.

To determine the best bank, the Department of Economic Affairs and Policy of the Indian Chamber of Commerce evaluated 17 different indicators.
