Ban on entry of vehicles without green-sticker in metropolitan cities from April 14

Kathmandu -  The government is going to prohibit the entry of vehicles without green- sticker on the roads of the metropolitan cities from the first day of Nepali calendar, Baishakh. 

At a programme organised by Reporters Club Nepal here today, Minister for Population and Environment, Lalbabu Pandit, has said that they are going to strictly bring implement the green-sticker from April 14. 

Minister Pandit said, "Any vehicles with green-sticker will undergo standard test at any time from April 14. We will take action against owners of the vehicles and employee issuing green-sticker to such vehicles if the vehicles failed the standard-test." 

He further said that the government was active to create dust-free environment in Kathmandu within a year.
