Rajbiraj - around one million rupees was gutted by fire at Shambhunath municipality-1 of Saptari district today.
The property was gutted when a poultry farm of a local Guneshwor Sah caught fire due to electricity leakage, according to the Area Police Office, Rupani.
Some 500 chickens were killed in the fire. Locals, police personnel and a fire engine doused the fire, according to the District Police Office, Saptari.
