Bus accident in Bharatpur injures 25

Kathmandu, August 23 – Two dozen people were injured in a bus accident which occurred at 17 Kilo in Bharatpur Metropolitan City on the Muglin-Narayangadh road in Chitwan.

Chitwan SP Bhavesh Rimal informed that the bus was en route from Gaur to Pokhara.

Preliminary police investigations indicate that the bus, numbered Ga 2 Kha 47, lost control after the driver panicked when a stone fell from above at the accident site.

The injured are receiving treatment at Bharatpur Hospital, Old Medical College, and Chitwan Medical College.
