Indian bus falls into Marshyangdi river; 11 reported missing
Kathmandu, August 23 - A bus with Indian number plates crashed in Tanahun on Friday, resulting in 11 people going missing.
The police stated that the bus plunged into the Marsyangdi River along the road.
Deepak Kumar Ray, Information Officer at the District Police Office Tanahun, stated that 14 individuals were found unconscious, while 15 others sustained minor injuries.
A team of armed police has been deployed for rescue efforts.
Shailendra Thapa, Assistant Spokesperson for the Armed Police Force, informed that the rescue team consists of 45 people, including 10 divers from the Nepal Disaster Management Training School and 35 personnel from the APF No. 23 Manakamana Battalion, Tanahun.
