No dispute between government and NEA : PM

Kathmandu, August 22 - Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has stated that the rumored differences between the government and the Nepal Electricity Authority are unfounded.

Addressing the questions of MPs at the House of Representatives meeting today he said, "There is no significant difference between the government and the Electricity Authority as rumored. I merely suggested that the government might have taken certain actions, but it was the Electricity Authority that connected the power line, not the government."

Prime Minister Oli also emphasized that providing instructions to run the government is a standard practice and not unusual.

He stated that he only inquired about the outstanding arrears of the Nepal Electricity Authority.
