Suspicious object found in Balambu defused

Kathmandu, August 22 - The suspicious object discovered near Balambu Secondary School in Chandragiri Municipality-12 has been disposed. According to DSP Surya Subedi from the police circle, the army's bomb disposal team defused the item.

Investigators have determined that the object was an empty pressure cooker. CCTV footage from the area shows a young man carrying the cooker in a bag.

DSP Subedi noted that the cooker might have been left behind by thieves. "We are currently investigating the matter," he said.
