Landslide at Ghansikuwa blocks Prithivi Highway; use of detour advised

Kathmandu, August 22 - The Prithvi Highway has been blocked due to a landslide in Ghansikuwa, Byas Municipality-12, Tanahun.

After continuous rain, a massive landslide along with a hillock fell onto the Dumre-Damauli section of the Prithvi Highway, according to the police.

While efforts are underway to clear the road, the police advise using an alternative route as it will take some time to reopen the highway.
