Education Minister demands security at Tribhuvan University

Kathmandu, August 21 – Minister for Education, Science, and Technology Bidhya Bhattarai has called for enhanced security measures at Tribhuvan University. She has asked the Home Minister to arrange this security through a request on the social network Facebook.

Minister Bhattarai expressed concerns about the university's safety, citing recent incidents where officials were targeted and professors were harassed through threatening calls. She has urged the Home Minister to implement necessary security arrangements.

Additionally, she has called for the Home Minister to ensure that those responsible for these threats are brought to justice. Minister Bhattarai emphasized that she is actively working to address the threats against university officials.
