Samajwadi Morcha secretariat meeting scheduled for today

Kathmandu, August 19 - The Samajwadi Morcha's (Socialist Front) secretariat meeting is scheduled for today. Ganga Narayan Shrestha, a member of the Front’s secretariat, informed that the meeting will convene at 3 p.m. at the CPN Maoist Center’s headquarters in Paris Danda.

Shrestha explained that the meeting will review current political issues and future plans, and finalize important documents, as directed by a previous Front meeting. The meeting that was originally set for Sunday was postponed due to the illness of coordinator Khadga Bahadur Bishwakarma.

The front meeting held on July 16th had instructed the submission of political documents within 15 days, but the document has still not been completed a month later.

In addition to Shrestha, the secretariat includes Dev Gurung, Secretary General of the Maoist Center; Bishwakarma, CPN Spokesperson; and Pramesh Hamal, leader of the Unified Socialist.
