Foreign Minister Rana to meet Indian PM Modi

Kathmandu, August 18 - Foreign Minister Dr. Arzu Rana Deuba, currently visiting India, is scheduled to meet Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday, according to the sources from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs

Originally, Foreign Minister Deuba’s itinerary did not include a meeting with Prime Minister Modi. However, despite Modi's busy schedule due to the visit of the Prime Minister of Malaysia, the meeting has been confirmed.

The Ministry also noted that Rana is set to meet with Indian Foreign Minister S. Jaishankar before her discussion with Prime Minister Modi, although the exact timing has not yet been finalized.

During the visit, Foreign Minister Rana plans to invite Prime Minister Modi to visit Nepal and discuss mutual interests between the two countries.
