TRC Amendment Bill moves to National Assembly after HoR approval

Kathmandu, August 15: The bill to amend the Commission for Investigation, Truth and Reconciliation Act, 2071 (TRC), which was approved by the House of Representatives, has been presented to the National Assembly.
On Thursday, Dr. Surendra Aryal, Secretary of the National Assembly, introduced the bill along with the message received from the House of Representatives.
The next session of the National Assembly is scheduled for August 19.
Once the bill is passed by the National Assembly and certified by the President, it will be published in the Nepal Gazette.
