Nepal Hajj Committee to refund excess Hajj fees

Kathmandu, August 13: The Nepal Hajj Committee has announced that it will soon begin refunding the money collected for the Hajj pilgrimage. According to a notice released today, the refund process will start shortly.

The committee had collected Rs. 415,000 per traveler for the 2024 Hajj. Since only Rs. 391,593 was used per person, Rs. 23,407 will be refunded to each pilgrim.

The committee has asked all Hajj pilgrims to update their bank account details with the district administration office in their respective districts within the next month.
