Sudurpashchim CM Shah set to take vote of confidence on Wednesday

Kathmandu, August 12: Sudurpaschim Chief Minister Kamal Bahadur Shah has requested a vote of confidence for Wednesday. Shah sent a letter to the Provincial Assembly Secretariat, asking them to arrange the vote.

Yuvraj Jaishi, Information Officer of the Sudurpaschim Province Assembly Secretariat, confirmed receiving Shah's request. He noted that there is a Provincial Assembly meeting scheduled for Tuesday. The decision on whether to proceed with the vote of confidence on Wednesday will be made after Tuesday's meeting, Jaishi told Ratopati.

Shah assumed office as Chief Minister on August 4 with the support of the CPN UML.
