Maoist standing committee meeting begins

Kathmandu, August 10: The Standing Committee meeting of the Nepal Communist Party (Maoist Center) has commenced at the party's central office in Parisdanda. Today's agenda includes discussions on the party's ideological, political, and organizational issues, as well as the allocation of responsibilities to the leaders. 

In yesterday's session, members reviewed both national and international political developments.

During today's meeting, Chairman Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' provided an update on recent political events in Nepal and Bangladesh. He also briefed the committee on the agreements reached between parties concerning transitional justice.
