Woman trampled to death in Butwal by stray bulls
Butwal, August 10: A woman has been trampled to death in Butwal by stray bulls involved in a roadfight. The victim, 45-year-old Sita Pandey, a resident of Arkhale in Resunga Municipality-4, Gulmi, who was currently living in Butwal Goalpark, succumbed to her injuries after being attacked by two bulls.
According to Deputy Superintendent of Police Bijayraj Pandit, Head of the District Police Office in Butwal, Sita was trampled by two bulls that were fighting on the road. She was seriously injured and died while receiving treatment in Lumbini Provincial Hospital, Butwal.
Sita owned a small tea shop in Butwal Goal Park. The incident occurred while she was on her way to the dairy to get milk, and she was caught in the bullfight on the road.
The presence of stray bulls on Butwal’s roads is causing significant traffic management issues.
