Cabinet ranking reshuffled: Pradip Poudel demoted
Kathmandu, August 8: President Ramchandra Paudel has carried out a reshuffle in position of ministers in the Cabinet led by KP Oli.
Following Prime Minister Oli's recommendation, President Paudel adjusted the rankings within the Council of Ministers on Thursday.
In the reshuffle, Tourism Minister Badri Pandey has been promoted from 16th to 14th position, while Health Minister Pradeep Paudel has been moved down to Pandey's previous rank.
Currently, Pandey also serves as the Joint General Secretary of the Nepali Congress party.
The President's Office announced that these changes to the cabinet formed on July 15th, are in accordance with Article 76 of the Constitution.
