Injured of Badigad landslide airlifted to Kathmandu
Baglung: Three individuals injured in a landslide in Badigad Rural Municipality have been airlifted to Kathmandu by an army helicopter.
The victims—19-year-old Rima Pun, 31-year-old Sita Thapa, and 46-year-old Sangita Budha, all from Maghigad Rural Municipality-10—were transported to Kathmandu after heavy rains, landslides, and challenging terrain made it impossible for them to reach the primary health center.
The landslide has resulted in eight fatalities, with four others still missing. Search efforts for the missing individuals are ongoing.
