Oli to attend State Affairs and Good Governance Committee meeting

Kathmandu: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli is set to attend the State Affairs and Good Governance Committee meeting on Tuesday afternoon.

Committee Chairman Ramhari Khatiwada confirmed that the meeting will begin at 2 pm. This will be the first time Oli participates in the committee meeting since his return to the role of Prime Minister.

Although invited to the meeting on the 1st August, Oli had previously sent a letter to the Home Minister stating that he would be unable to attend. The committee's agenda includes discussing a bill to amend the Prevention of Corruption Act, 2059.

However, Prime Minister Oli's secretariat has indicated that there is no confirmation of his participation. PM's Communication Expert Ramsharan Bajgain noted that Oli is not scheduled to attend the committee meeting.
