UML new CC members including Vice Chair Baral sworn-in

Kathmandu: Seventeen newly nominated Central Committee members of the CPN-UML, including Guru Baral as the Vice Chairman, took their oaths on Sunday. Chairman KP Sharma Oli administered the oaths to Baral and the other Central Committee members at the UML central office in Chyasal, Lalitpur.

The nominations were made during the UML Secretariat meeting on August 1. The new Central Committee members include Subhash Karmacharya (Sindhupalchok), Kundan Kushwaha (Rautahat), Jitendra Dev (Sunsari), Rampreet Ram (Siraha), Krishna Bhakta Pokharel (Chitwan), Kamal Krishna Timilsina (Achham), Govind Pun (Salyan), Kedar Sigdel (Tanahun), and Manamohan Paudel (Parbat).

Additionally, Bhardev Joshi (Darchula), Hari Upreti (Sarlahi), Indra Bhandari (Jhapa), Mahesh Bartaula (Makawanpur), Sarita Bhusal (Peasants Federation), Prabha Baral (Kaski), Manju Sharma Chalise (Baglung), and Asha Jabegu (Panchthar) have also been appointed as central members.
