Nidhi assures durability of alliance, cites PM's commitment

Kathmandu – Bimalendra Nidhi, leader of the Nepali Congress and former Deputy Prime Minister, has asserted that the current political alliance is set to endure for an extended period. Speaking at the swearing-in ceremony for the newly elected officials of the Shri Ram Youth Committee in Janakpurdham, Nidhi expressed confidence that this alliance will ensure long-term political stability.

He supported his claim by referencing Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli's parliamentary statement, in which Oli promised to serve as Prime Minister for two years before handing over the role to Sher Bahadur Deuba, President of the Nepali Congress.

According to Nidhi, there is no sign of discord within the existing alliance.

Nidhi emphasized that this alliance will foster political stability in the country and is poised to facilitate development.

He highlighted that the coalition government, formed by the two major parties, will focus on advancing political, economic, social, and educational progress.
