Two-vehicle collision in Dang injures 19

Butwal: Nineteen people were injured in a collision between a bus and a truck in Dang today.

According to the District Police Office Dang, the accident occurred when truck No. 4 Kha 4096, traveling from Ghorahi to Tulsipur, and bus No. 4 Kha 3848, coming from the opposite direction, crashed into each other in Hapurkhola along the Ghorahi-Tulsipur road.

DSP Ram Prasad Timalsina reported that all the injured are currently being treated at the Rapti Health Science Academy.

He added that all of the injured are passengers of the bus and their conditions are stable.

Both the bus and truck drivers have been detained, and an investigation is underway.
