CC meeting of CPN (US) convenes today

Kathmandu: The Central Committee of the CPN (Unified Socialist) is meeting today. Jagannath Khatiwada, Head of the Publicity Department, announced that the meeting will take place after 11 o'clock on Wednesday and aims to finalize the central committee.

Preparations are underway to complete the central committee during this meeting. If it is not finalized today, it is expected to be completed by tomorrow, according to Khatiwada.

CPN (Unified Socialist) leaders have struggled to finalize the 299-member Central Committee due to a high number of aspirants.

Party leader Rajendra Pandey noted that the party constitution allows for the addition of up to 10 percent more members, and this will also be discussed.

The party had announced a partial central committee of 93 members on July 3rd, including the Chairman, Respected Leader, and General Secretary, but it has not yet been fully completed.
