Flood wreaks havoc in Kirtipur, 15 rescued

Kathmandu: Armed Police Force (APF) has rescued 15 people who were trapped in Radha Swami Area in Sundarighat, Kirtipur Municipality-10 of Kathmandu due to the incessant rain last night.
The security forces deployed from Nepal No. 18 Nilbarahi Battalion rescued 15 people trapped in the flood. Troops were mobilized immediately at 5:00 a.m. after receiving the news.
Joint-spokesperson of APF DSP Shailendra Thapa informed that they were rescued with the help of tubes and ropes and brought to a safe place.
