HoR meeting today
Kathmandu: The House of Representatives will convene on Monday. According to the Parliament Secretariat, the meeting will start at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar. During this session, the Minister of Health and Population and the Minister of Agriculture and Livestock Development will respond to the queries from MPs.
Additionally, Speaker Devraj Ghimire will propose the appointment of a member to the monitoring and evaluation committee responsible for implementing the directive principles, policies, and obligations of the state, in accordance with sub-rule (2) of rule 28 of the Federal Parliament and Joint Committee (Operation) Regulations, 2080.
Speaker Ghimire will also present a proposal for consideration of the Shaheed Dasharath Chand Health Sciences University Bill, 2080, which originated in the National Assembly.
Furthermore, Minister of Law, Justice, and Parliamentary Affairs Ajay Kumar Chaurasia will propose that the Legislation Bill, 2080, also from the National Assembly, be sent to the relevant committee for quarterly discussion.
MP Tosima Karki will present a proposal of urgent public importance addressing the revision of disaster management, the creation of a comprehensive master plan, and discussions on preparedness for health crises.
